The peer approval feature increases network security by requiring an administrator to manually approve each device before it can communicate with other resources in the network.
When peer approval is enabled, a newly connected device reaches the management service but has no access to network resources until an administrator approves it. This ensures only trusted, managed devices can join the network.
Enable peer approval
Go to Settings → Authentication and enable Peer approval.
When peer approval is disabled, all pending approval requests are automatically approved.
Approve a peer
Go to the Peers tab. Devices waiting for approval will show an Approve button on the right side of the table. Click it to grant network access to that device.
